Location: Birmingham

Salary: £45,000-£60,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Principal Ecologist to join a well-established environmental consultancy in Birmingham! The team has been working on a range of specialist rail and infrastructure projects and is looking to expand.

The role involves:

1. Leading a varied portfolio of interesting ecological projects.
2. Conducting surveys on both rail and large infrastructure projects.
3. Report writing including EcIAs, ES Chapters, and HRAs.

Requirements include:

1. Experience of working within a consultancy environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and policy.
3. Proven experience of writing technical reports and ESPM licence documents.
