An established industry player is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to lead the development of innovative data engineering solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive improvements in technical delivery quality, guide solution development, and address complex technical challenges. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes that support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This position offers a flexible working environment, allowing you to balance your time between home and the office while making a significant impact in the data engineering domain.
We’re currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our team as a key technical authority and thought leader for our Data Platform and Engineering team. You’ll be responsible for driving the improvement of technical delivery quality, guiding solution development and delivery, and providing expertise in a wide range of applications and technologies. You’ll address complex and far-reaching technical issues within the domain. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
