A technology acceleration venture specializing in innovation advisory for the industrial & maritime sectors is offering the opportunity for a Principal Consultant to join their fast-growing team of 35+ employees.

The Principal Consultant will work with organizations in maritime & other safety-critical industries to accelerate digital and technology adoption across areas such as IoT, IIoT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, wearables, robotics, etc. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference with a mission-driven organization by leveraging innovative technology solutions to solve complex problems around safety and risk.

Responsibilities of the Principal Consultant (Technology & Innovation - Maritime)

1. Leading technology project delivery with maritime & industrial clients, projects ranging from innovation POCs/trials through to full tech implementations.
2. Owning client engagement and relationship management across the delivery lifecycle, from business & problem analysis through to implementation & go-live.
3. Supporting the identification and development of business opportunities by understanding client pain points, consulting, solutionizing, and writing client proposals.

Requirements for the Principal Consultant (Technology & Innovation - Maritime)

1. Proven management consulting experience within technology & innovation.
2. Strong knowledge of innovative technologies (IoT, IIoT, AI, VR, data analysis, wearables, etc).
3. Demonstrable experience solving problems for industrial clients through technology & innovation.
4. High degree of aptitude within client-facing technology project delivery.
5. Experience with maritime (and/or energy) clients would be extremely beneficial.
