Principal Consultant- CLM

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As a Principal Consultant, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will be the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in London. You will have deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.

The Role and Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone with the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit. You will combine project delivery know-how, knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, an innovative nature, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry.

Project responsibilities include;

1. Manage a team of consultants ensuring high delivery quality.
2. Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
3. Responsible for pipeline management of the team/direct reports including; rolls offs, extensions, new opportunities and pricing.
4. Make valuable contributions to products, solutions and teams and can articulate the value to clients.
5. Drafting and negotiating statements of work including rates/pricing.
6. Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise.
7. Project delivery for clients.
8. Regulatory remediation and enforcement response.
9. Regulatory compliance across the whole project lifecycle.
10. Cost transformation.
11. Legal Entity re-structure.
12. Operating model re-design and execution.
13. Operational resilience assessment and remediation.
14. Own account and project delivery for clients.

As an experienced Principal Consultant, you will have:

1. Strong commercial awareness alongside excellent delivery. Demonstrate leadership capability across client and internal deliverables.
2. Proven Consulting experience within Financial Services.
3. Experience in / understanding of Client Lifecycle Management and the processes that underpin it: Client onboarding, Client Due Diligence, KYC, AML, Financial Crime Compliance.
4. Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live.
5. Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.
6. Some experience managing projects and team members supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
7. Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants. E.g., sell side, buy side, market infrastructure, etc.
8. As an experienced Consultant, you will be expected to be comfortable working on an independent basis and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
9. You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by supporting ongoing operations, RFPs and helping to manage junior consultants.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
