Amazon Adapt is hiring a Principal Global Client Lead (AE) + Agency Development Manager (ADM) hybrid role to service Amazon Ads' Global Customer Development organization. This position can be located in London, UK or Virtual - UK. This person will flex to provide coverage between business vacancies across Global AE and ADM roles in the EU region. Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers and their agencies. Our ad solutions—including Sponsored Ads, display and video advertising, and custom programs—leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys.

As an Adapt employee within the Global Customer Development org, you will accelerate the next phase of Amazon Ads' development. This role is an opportunity for a senior business development leader to shape and drive Amazon Ads' strategic agency partnerships with global advertisers and Big 6 Holding Companies. You will work directly with C-level decision makers in media and global brand teams, as well as our client's media agency(ies) to develop global Joint Business Plans, drive inclusion of Amazon Ads in key brands' global media planning, and help solve clients' marketing and media challenges.

Key job responsibilities
This role will live within the Amazon Adapt sales team, reporting to the Head of Adapt GCD team. The Adapt Principal Client Lead serves as the client partner to one of our large, strategic advertisers. Core responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop and execute a customer-led strategy for growth for a Holding Company and its agencies at a global level or a Global Direct Advertiser Agreement.
  2. Build and manage a detailed engagement strategy to C-Level.
  3. Develop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded, programmatic and biddable products.
  4. Lead education and enablement of key agency/advertiser functions including delivery of org-wide customer events.
  5. Identify opportunities for agency/advertiser collaboration around large-scale creative solutions.
  6. Liaise with in-locale AE or ADM teams to identify transformative opportunities for partnerships offered by Amazon Ads's product development roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:
1. 10+ years digital ad sales experience
2. 8+ years of B2B sales experience
3. Experience in business development working with media agencies and/or global advertisers
4. Ability to build strong senior relationships quickly
5. Strong track record of high-level negotiation and relationship management with Global C-level stakeholders
6. Strong analytical abilities
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
8. This is a client-facing role and requires up to 30% global travel as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of data-driven (i.e. programmatic) media trading
- Experience successfully engaging and negotiating at C-Level within agencies and agency groups
- Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients
- 15+ years digital ad sales experience
