Amazon Adapt is hiring a Principal Global Client Lead (AE) + Agency Development Manager (ADM) hybrid role to service Amazon Ads' Global Customer Development organization. This position can be located in London, UK or Virtual - UK. This person will flex to provide coverage between business vacancies across Global AE and ADM roles in the EU region. As an Adapt employee within the Global Customer Development org, you will accelerate the next phase of Amazon Ads' development. Amazon Ads is committed to transforming the depth, scale, and ambition of our global partnerships with global advertisers and major media agencies. This role is an opportunity for a senior business development leader to join the team to shape and drive Amazon Ads' strategic agency partnerships with global advertisers and Big 6 Holding Companies. The role is an opportunity to work directly with C-level decision makers in media, global e-commerce leadership, global brand teams, as well as our client's media agency(ies) - to develop global Joint Business Plans, operationalize the global relationship, drive inclusion of Amazon Ads in key brands' global media planning, interface with programmatic and ad tech teams, and help solve clients' marketing and media challenges with the breadth of our analytics and insights offering.
Key Job Responsibilities
This role will live within the Amazon Adapt sales team, reporting to the Head of Adapt GCD team and partnering with Adapt peers who are deployed across the Amazon Ads organization. In this role, the Adapt Principal Client Lead within Amazon Ads serves as the client partner to one of our large, strategic advertisers. They work directly with the client's global media & brand teams, including VP-level and up to the global CMO. A key deliverable for this role is the annual Joint Business Plan (JBP) - signed into a global advertiser agreement - that structures our relationship. These are very large and highly complex relationships that are now growing into cross-enterprise engagements. Internally, the Principal Client Lead sets the standards and will raise the bar for the community of local teams working on the account, as well as interface with multiple product & partner teams to invent on behalf of their customer.
