Job description
Your experience as a chartered structural/civil engineer will make a real impact for my client.
Due to record growth in their Civil Engineering Practice, they are looking for an Associate Director in Civil Structural Engineering to join them. You will play a vital role in the growth of their heavy civil engineering business. You will get the exciting opportunity to work on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure and the chance to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. They specialise in all aspects of heavy civil engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Water.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
To be suitable for the role you will:
- Be a Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
- Have experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Possess sound knowledge of relevant design standards and codes.
