Principal Civil Engineer – LNG FEED Project (12-Month Contract, Inside IR35)

Are you an experienced Principal Civil Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile LNG FEED project? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client’s team on a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead (5 days per week, office-based).

Key Requirements:

1. 12+ years’ experience within consultant engineering or end-user companies
2. Strong background in Aramco projects
3. Expertise in American and Euro norm design codes & standards

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Support the lead civil engineer in delivering engineering deliverables
2. Develop design basis, material & construction specifications
3. Conduct engineering studies and provide technical recommendations
4. Oversee analysis & calculations for:

• Structural elements (buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts, bridges, retaining structures)
• Foundations (shallow, piled)
• Civil infrastructure (earthworks, roads, site prep)

Prepare material take-offs

Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, clients & third-party contractors

Work collaboratively across global offices to meet project timelines & budgets

Contract Details:

1. Location: Leatherhead (office-based, 5 days per week)
2. Duration: 12 months
3. IR35 Status: Inside IR35
