Salary: £12.82 per hour
Start Date: After Easter 2025 / September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent (Part-time can also be arranged for the right candidate)

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Poole. Duties of the Role:

  1. Support classroom activities: Assist the class teacher with daily lessons and activities across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2).
  2. Provide one-on-one support: Offer individual or small group assistance to students who may need extra help with learning.
  3. Promote a positive learning environment: Help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and motivated.
  4. Encourage student development: Help students with their academic progress and social skills.
  5. Feedback and communication: Provide regular feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behaviour.
  6. Support during break times: Assist with supervising students during playtimes and lunch, promoting positive social interactions.
  7. Contribute to the school community: Engage with staff, parents, and students to foster a supportive environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. A genuine passion for supporting young learners and fostering their development.
