Woodfield Academy is recruiting for a passionate teacher who will be part of the KS2 team and will predominantly teach one class in either Year 5 or 6. We are adopting a primary model for KS2 and welcome applications from teachers with a primary background. The subjects taught will be English, Maths, PSHRE, Geography, History, RE, languages, and Science with responsibility for the class as a tutor group. Foundation subjects of PE, Music, DT, and Art are taught by our specialist teachers in other areas of the school, but these subjects are available to teach for suitable candidates.
Woodfield Academy is a popular 5-form entry middle school with pupils on roll aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.
