Job Title: Primary Teacher - Supporting Pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

Location: Cardiff

Job Type: Contract

Salary: £166.32 per day

About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a specialist provision setting in Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to provide individualized support to pupils.
  3. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with ALN.
  4. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior and academic success.
  5. Regularly communicate progress and development to parents, colleagues, and external agencies as required.
  6. Maintain high standards of teaching and learning while adhering to the school's policies and curriculum guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  4. A compassionate and patient approach to teaching.
