As a Primary Teacher, you will educate and nurture young learners, fostering their academic and social development. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing progress, and providing a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons following the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child thrives.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Encourage student engagement, curiosity, and independent learning.
  • Maintain classroom behaviour and pastoral care to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience.
  • Applicants must be qualified drivers with a valid license.
  • A strong passion for primary education and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
