TeacherActive has an amazing opportunity for a KS1 Teacher to work with an exceptional school in Consett to lead EYFS to Year 2 classes. The school offers outstanding teaching facilities to encourage students just starting in education to build a fantastic foundation of knowledge to progress seamlessly through the curriculum.

The school is seeking a teacher who has proficient experience teaching KS1, is knowledgeable on all up-to-date policies and procedures. The school is open to new ECTs who have taught KS1 during placement as well as tenured teachers.

A successful KS1 teacher will have:

Relevant Qualifications (QTS); training in SEND is preferred but not essential.
Great classroom presence.
The ability to encourage pupils' confidence, learning, and development.
