SEN Teacher – Primary School, Tower Hamlets

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from April or September 2025. Key Responsibilities – Primary SEN Teacher

1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND.
2. Use a range of teaching strategies and interventions to support children’s learning and development.
3. Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and well-being.
6. Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates and guidance on supporting learning at home.

Person Specification - Primary SEN Teacher

1. UK QTS required with experience in SEN or inclusive education.
2. A passion for SEN education and ability to meet individual learning needs.
3. A caring and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to helping every child succeed.
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured and engaging learning environment.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
6. A proactive and reflective teacher, keen to develop professionally and embrace new teaching strategies.
