As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will have the chance to deliver personalized and engaging lessons to children with special educational needs. Position: Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Kempston
Sector: Education and Training
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £160 - £218 per day


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student.
  2. Develop and implement personalized learning strategies for children with a range of special educational needs.
  3. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom where all students feel valued and motivated.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create individual learning plans and track progress.
  5. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and encourage their development.
  6. Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in special educational needs.
  2. Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team spirit.
  4. A deep commitment to the well-being and development of children with SEN.
  5. Creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
  6. Experience with various SEN needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) is preferred but not essential.
  7. Ability to commute to Kempston.
