Primary School Teaching Assistant
Stroud, GL5 • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM • Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. • Pay: £90 + per day, based on experience and qualifications. • This role is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Are you passionate about supporting young learners? Axcis Education are working with a school located in the heart of Stroud which offers exceptional learning spaces such as a Forest School and a specialised SEND Resource Base, where children can flourish through nature-based and individualised learning. We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant who is empathetic, resilient and eager to work with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our students are energetic and curious and we need someone who is patient, enthusiastic and ready to make a meaningful impact in their development.

What We’re Looking For:

1. At least 3 months of UK experience supporting children/ vulnerable adults with ASD or SEND is required.
2. Patient, reliable and adaptable with a caring, supportive attitude.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to manage and support students with challenging behaviour in a calm and proactive manner.
5. Driving is ideal but not necessary.

2. Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art, or drama are also welcome!
