Job description

Primary School Teaching Assistant

Location: Bath, BA2

Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles available, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary with the view to go permanent

Axcis are working with a fantastic, nurturing and inclusive primary school devoted to providing a supportive, engaging learning environment for all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our academy is dedicated to collaboration and personal growth, ensuring each child thrives academically and socially.

Requirements:
  1. Experience supporting children/vulnerable adults with ASD or SEND is highly desirable.
  2. Patient, reliable and adaptable with a caring, supportive attitude.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Ability to manage and support students with challenging behaviour in a calm and proactive manner.
Ideal Candidate:

If you have experience in any of the following areas, we encourage you to apply:

  1. Nurseries, colleges, youth clubs, residential or care homes
  2. Personal experience (SEND)
  3. Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art, or drama are also welcome!

Additional Information:
  1. Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
  2. Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  3. Pay: £90+ per day, based on experience and qualifications.
