Job Title: Primary School Supply Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £625 - £1000 per week (Depending on recent experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a caring and flexible Primary School Supply Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Rotherham. This is an amazing opportunity to help children enjoy learning and make a difference in their education. You’ll step into the classroom, bringing energy and kindness, whether you’re covering a short-term absence or staying longer to support the students. Your presence will help them feel confident, engaged, and excited to learn every day.

Your Key Tasks and Duties:

1. Leading engaging and easy-to-understand lessons for children in different primary year groups.
2. Quickly adjusting to new classrooms and following each school’s unique approach.
3. Creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment where every student feels supported.
4. Keeping students on task and promoting good behaviour throughout lessons.
5. Becoming the trusted teacher schools reach out to when they need extra support.

Candidate Expectations:

1. A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a similar teaching qualification.
2. Experience working in primary schools, including Early Years, KS1, or KS2.
3. Someone with a passion for helping children grow, learn, and succeed.
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work well with both students and staff.
5. Quick to build positive relationships with children and colleagues alike.
6. A CV that reflects your experience over the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
7. An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
