This role may be perfect for you. Our school is looking for a Primary School Sports Coach to join their team and inspire young learners in the London Borough of Lewisham. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to promote physical education and encourage active lifestyles for Primary School children.

Location: Brockley, London Borough of Lewisham.

Start Date: April 1st 2025

Interview Dates: Week Commencing February 1st 2025.

Pay: £85 - £120 per day (dependant on experience)

The school is looking for a motivated Primary School Sports Coach to conduct afternoon sessions from classes from Reception all the way through up to Year 6. The role will also consist of undertaking sport sessions for children who attend afterschool clubs. The role will be full-time Monday to Friday during term-time and the hours would be from 11:45am – 4:30pm.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Sports Coach working with primary school aged children.
2. Relevant coaching qualifications or a degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with young learners and colleagues.
4. A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a love for physical activity among children.
5. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all students.
6. Knowledge of the PE national curriculum.
