Job: Primary School Singing Teacher

Start Date: September

Role: ½ day a week School year

Location: London Borough Barnet

Rate: £90 per ½ day

About the role

Our client is a lovely two form entry primary school on the outskirts of Finchley looking for a motivated and ambitious experienced music teacher available for one morning a week. To play a key role within the school delivering KS1 & KS2 singing assemblies, able to accompany on the piano, ideally Wednesdays but we do have flexibility. You will also support music with reception students after the assemblies. You will enjoy the support of a fantastic headteacher and a supportive team of dedicated staff.

Qualities Required

Applicants need to be experienced in leading choirs with piano and working within a primary school environment. Confident in their ability to teach students from reception to KS2 music and singing in large groups and can enthuse, motivate, and engage students. The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic experience practitioner with the ability to drive students to achieve the best of their abilities in a fun and challenging way. An aspirational and inspirational committed teacher able to commit long-term.
