Job Summary
Premier Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being among students. This role involves educating students on the importance of physical activity, teaching various sports and fitness techniques, and fostering a positive environment for learning and development.

Duties

1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical education and encourage student participation in various sports and activities.
2. Educate students on the principles of health, fitness, and nutrition to foster a holistic understanding of well-being.
3. Coach students in various sports, providing guidance on techniques, strategies, and teamwork.
4. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
5. Assess student performance and progress in physical education activities, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
6. Organise and supervise school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement in physical activities.
7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns related to physical education.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of sports coaching techniques and physical education practices.
2. Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson plans, schedules, and events efficiently.
3. Proficient communication skills in English to effectively convey information to students and staff.
4. Experience in behaviour management strategies to maintain discipline within the classroom setting.
5. A genuine passion for educating young people about the importance of physical activity and healthy living.
