Primary School PPA Teacher – Oxford

Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking to cover PPA at a great primary school based in Oxford?

Are you tired of the full-time class teacher responsibilities but still want to teach children and make a difference?

Or perhaps you have recently completed your teaching training and haven't secured an ECT role yet and want to gain experience across different year groups at a school that could offer your ECT induction further down the line?

A 2 Form Entry Primary School located in Oxford is searching for a full-time PPA primary teacher to join them ASAP on a long-term contract with the view of going permanent.

This role is open to both experienced primary teachers and ECTs. Please note, ECT induction will not be completed as a PPA teacher but will give you a solid year of whole school teaching. This school would be happy to put you through your ECT induction from January 2024 and prior to this, you would be well supported!

This is a rare but fantastic opportunity, perfectly suited to a qualified primary teacher who has a genuine passion and love for teaching and learning.

You will be required to deliver set planned lessons across the primary school from Nursery to Year 6. You will NOT be required to plan or write reports but WILL be required to mark.

The Headteacher of this primary school is keen to find the right fit for this role and is wanting someone who is fun, vibrant, and is a great team player.

The Ideal PPA Teacher:

1. Holds QTS
2. Has at least 1 year of UK primary teaching experience
3. Ability to teach across the entire school and primary phases
4. Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
5. Be supportive and a great team player
