Role and Responsibilities:

As a Primary PE Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating students to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons to primary school students.
2. Introducing a wide range of sports and physical activities to enhance students' skills and coordination.
3. Promoting teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship among students.
4. Tailoring lessons to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
5. Assessing and evaluating students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to organise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
7. Fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of physical education.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a relevant teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a similar field.
2. Possess experience teaching PE to primary school students, ideally within a school setting.
3. Demonstrate a genuine passion for physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
4. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire young learners.
5. Exhibit strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
6. Show enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
7. Possess a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or be willing to obtain one.
