About the SEND Teacher role:

The successful SEND Teacher will prepare, plan, and deliver lessons to a small group of KS1 and KS2 pupils who are pre-verbal with SLD and PMLD needs. The group is focused on sensory learning, including colours and music, and there are also pupils with SLCN (Speech, Language, and Communication Needs) within this class.

The ideal SEND Teacher:

The ideal SEND Teacher will be driven to succeed and teach children with special educational needs. SEND school experience is desirable, but a strong EYFS teacher would be able to take their first steps into a SEND school due to the experienced support staff and supportive teaching and leadership team.
