BMW UK, Financial Services, Farnborough – Pricing - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)

We have 2 placements within our Pricing teams in Farnborough.

The BMW Financial Services Pricing Function is comprised of 3 teams responsible for all pricing activity across our business units and sales channels. It is a dynamic area responsible for managing and implementing all retail, corporate and commercial finance offers, evaluating sales initiatives, new customers and product offerings, formulating bid and tender responses, enhancing pricing tools, system administration and reporting on the success of each action against Group targets. In Pricing, you will be collaborating with Sales teams to create compelling pricing propositions as well as using data analysis to optimise the pricing strategy.

What awaits you?

• Analysing pricing positions across the different sales channels.
• Collaborating with Sales teams to optimise the pricing strategy and ensure the successful launch and implementation of all finance offers, campaigns and sales initiatives.
• Influencing business decisions by providing reports and analysis on performance and trends, communicating and presenting your findings to both internal working groups and business leads.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of key pricing mechanisms and tools that provide insight and clarity on the financial implications of business actions.
• Responsible for ad hoc projects and assignments taking the opportunity to develop your internal network and understand the wider interdependencies across business areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Studying for an undergraduate degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above. The role tends to suit a STEM subject or similar, although suitable candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with the ability to build rapport.
• Ability to use your initiative and manage your own projects/workload autonomously.
• Strong analytical, data manipulation, and data modelling skills.
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the automotive & finance industries.
