Job Title: Pricing Analyst

Locations: Manchester (flexible)

Role Overview

This role is for Atlanta Group, part of the Markerstudy Group.

Markerstudy Group are looking for a Pricing Analyst to help build and shape our pricing models. Joining our pricing team, you will help to deliver pricing solutions to maximise the Groups ability to meet its strategy and annual plan. You will be involved with autonomously carrying out regular tasks, e.g. BAU analysis, and provide key contributions to strategic projects with support from more senior team members.

With your naturally inquisitive mindset you will always be open to change and you will have a keen eye for the continuous improvement of processed.

As a Pricing Analyst, you willuse your advanced analytical skills to:

  • Conduct price optimisation analysis/modelling
  • Query large databases to extract and manipulate data that is fit for purpose
  • Develop and implement predictive models / segmentations using market leading methodologies
  • Perform detailed and insightful analysis to solve complex business problems and / or to gain a deep understanding of various Swinton business dynamics
  • Deliver regular management information on specific KPI's relating to the products performance
  • Contribute to wider analytic and customer community
  • Present work to senior members of the team

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with some of the following predictive modelling techniques; Logistic Regression, GBMs, Elastic Net GLMs, GAMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural Nets and Clustering, machine learning, uplift modelling
  • Experience in statistical and data science programming languages (e.g. R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL)
  • A good quantitative degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science)
  • Proficient at communicating results in a concise manner both verbally and written
