Job description

We are currently seeking for a Pressure Control Maintenance Technician for our Well Services Team.

The Pressure Control Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall running for the pressure testing bay for all UK business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining Coiled Tubing/Wireline BOP’s and Coiled Tubing/Wireline Stuffing Boxes.
  2. Pressure Testing pressure control equipment and treating hoses within Well Services.
  3. Performing shear / slip testing in line with Archer CT procedures and / or customer requirements.
  4. Ensure adequate spares are in stock and readily available.
  5. Assist with planning and coordination of 5-year major certification updates on PCE.
  6. Maintain and update necessary certification for pressure control across all UK business units.
  7. Input and adherence to business units’ quality plans in line with relevant industry standards.
  8. Lead safety culture with focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
  9. Follow and update maintenance procedures.
  10. Ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out at the correct intervals.
  11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and original build standards.
  12. Support with any Workshop tasks as requested during quieter periods.
