Our established Sheet Metal Manufacturing client is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Brake Press/Folding Machinist with operating experience.

This is an exciting career move to join an established industry leader, commutable from Thurmaston, Glenfield, Beaumont Leys, and surrounding areas.

Job Purpose:

The successful press brake/folding machine operator will be responsible for folding sheet metal products as per engineering drawings, which will involve operating the machines.

Duties - CNC Press Brake operator

1. Operating CNC Press Brake machines
2. Working from engineering drawings
3. Working to tight tolerances
4. Inspecting parts

Key Skills / Experience Required:

1. CNC Press Brake operating
2. Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
3. Hard working and motivated
4. Keen eye for detail and able to work to tight tolerances
5. Able to work independently and as part of a team

The Package:

1. Excellent salary on offer of up to £14.00 per hour
2. Onsite parking
3. 0700 - 1630 Mon - Thurs
4. 0730 - 1530 Friday
5. Overtime at enhanced rates
