Preservation Technician

GWO candidates required for Hartlepool.

The rotation would be 2 weeks on 1 week off, all on days.

Tasks to include:

1. Preservation tasks of Nacelles
2. Applying protection sheeting on to equipment
3. Cleaning / mopping out of equipment
4. Visual checks of equipment
5. Replacing blade covers
6. Checks on assets using iPad
7. Installing monitoring equipment in towers

We are only looking for people who already have their:

1. Full GWO training
2. OGUK medical
3. Driving license and have their own vehicle due to site access and project location

If any candidates have the following, it would be advantageous for their opportunity:

1. IPAF cert
2. PASMA
3. Telehandler
4. Winch operator

Duration of employment is a minimum of 6 - 10 months with the possibility of the right candidates moving with the project to Scotland.

There is also opportunity for the individual's progression for higher positions and higher pay structure progression.

Pay Structure:

1. Preservation Tech - £19 - As a General Operative, little experience.
2. Preservation Tech - Entry Level Technician - £21 - Moved up from General Operative or has a background which makes them not green as grass.
3. Preservation Tech - WTT - £23 - Hasn't a trade but has industry experience.
4. Preservation Technician - £24 - Competent to carry all preservation activities with minimum supervision.
