We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Prescription Clerk to join our busy GP Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing repeat prescription requests, liaising with patients and pharmacies, and ensuring prescriptions are handled accurately and efficiently in line with practice policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Oaklands Health Centre is a well-established GP practice located in Hythe, Kent, dedicated to providing comprehensive NHS services to the local community. The practice offers a wide range of healthcare services and is part of Folkestone, Hythe and Rural PCN.
The clinical team comprises of 2 Partners and a team of experienced GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses and healthcare assistants, all working collaboratively to deliver patient-centred care. Oaklands Health Centre is also a training practice, accredited for the education of Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors, reflecting its commitment to the development of future healthcare professionals.
The Practice serves a patient population of approximately 12,000. The Practice is part of the Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group having been rated as "Good" across all domains - safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led by the CQC.
