Job Title: Pre-Sales Wi-Fi Network Engineer

Salary: Up to £60k (dependent on candidate alignment to role requirements)

Role Summary

UK Connect seeks a Pre-Sales Wi-Fi Network Engineer with prior experience covering both Pre-Sales and working for a Managed Service Provider, to support our growth within the Construction Sector and other targeted industries. You will be pivotal in researching, creating, designing and delivering our technical solutions to all customers. About You

As an experienced network engineer, you will possess a proven record in design and deployment of complex network solutions. You confidently and accurately produce technical customer documents (HLD, LLD, SOW etc.) to a high standard. You can showcase an ability to monitor network performance, identify, and resolve network issues, and conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime and ensure seamless network connectivity. You have a passion for engineering and a dedication toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales technical support for the commercial team.
  • Listening and understanding the needs of our customers, then scoping, designing, and building a solution to solve their challenge(s).
  • Provide a technical lead role in project works.
  • Research, development, and approval of new and existing solutions.
  • Providing 3rd line support for our service desk where required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

  • CCNA is a mandatory requirement.
Technical Skills & Experience
  • Relevant experience within a Solutions, Pre-Sales or Network Engineering role.
  • Designing & delivering wireless projects.
  • Collaborating with wireless vendors such as Cradlepoint, Ruckus, Siklu, Cambium and other similar brands.
  • Previous experience with the use of Ekahau would be beneficial.
