Pre-sales Security Consultant

Pre-sales Security Consultant - £55k - £60k (£80k OTE). Swindon/ Hybrid

VIQU has partnered with one of Europe's leading Managed Service Providers (MSPs) who specialize in digital transformation across the industrial, trade, financial, and public sectors. The business is looking to expand its UK operations and is currently hiring a Pre-sales Security Consultant.

The Pre-sales Security Consultant will work on a hybrid model once the probation period is passed, consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities of the Pre-sales Security Consultant:

1. Collaborate with the wider Pre-sales team when there is a link with cyber security.
2. Act as subject matter expert on Cyber Security, the current threat landscape, and keep up to date with the latest security industry trends.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
4. Lead the process of designing and reviewing solutions.
5. Provide expertise during Cyber incidents and aim to develop cyber incident and response plans.

Requirements of the Pre-sales Security Consultant:

1. 2+ years in Pre-sales or similar position within an MSP environment.
2. Working knowledge of security standards ISO27002, NIST CSF, CIS, or NCSE CAF.
3. Understanding of threat management products and endpoint detection.
4. Expertise in SOC processes and procedures.
5. Natural problem-solver, enthusiastic, and strong administrative skills.
