Pre-Fabricator

Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer and due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Pre-Fabricator to work in their Workshop permanently.

In this role, you'll have the freedom to manage your own work without constant oversight, making self-discipline and a drive to develop your skills essential. If you're eager to grow and push your limits, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation of raw materials, equipment & components
2. Completing required quality checks, checking jobs against drawings
3. Fettling galvanising gates before powder-coating
4. Spray-painting
5. Ensuring a clean, tidy & safe working environment
6. Following health & safety procedures
7. Acting with integrity and honesty while looking out for other team members

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

1. Previous experience in a pre-fabrication role ideally or a passion for engineering
2. A practical outlook with materials knowledge
3. Ability to read technical drawings
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Physically fit
6. Machine maintenance experience

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 6.30 am-4 pm.
