As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:

• Put patient care first
• Carry out administrative duties
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in the delivery of exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
• Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
• Meet the needs of every individual
• Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact and experience

Our specialties include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, X-ray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
