We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our award-winning practice. The candidate will undertake all General practice chronic disease management as well as general practice nursing duties, including child/adult vaccinations, wound care, and cytology (These 3 accreditations and experience are Mandatory). Should be competent in all QuoF chronic disease reviews and immunisation.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate to work approximately 25-30 hours over 5 days Fairly FLEXIBLE - ideally PM sessions across main and branch sites. Ample overtime to cover colleagues' holidays is available.
We would also welcome practice nurses with a Non-Medical prescribing certificate & minor ailments certificate to apply.
The practice has provided practice nurse VTS training in the past.

The successful candidate would have experience and skills in the following areas:
Knowledge of national and local guidelines with the ability to apply these to individual patients and set targets is essential. We ask for experience in dealing with the above; holding a diploma as a minimum in each chronic disease is not expected but core knowledge and ability to assess follow up of stable patients based on QuoF requirement is a must.

We are looking to recruit an NMC UK registered nurse with the skills as stated in the advert, with mandatory qualifications & Experience with Baby-children Immunisation and Cervical Smear taking.
Hours of work can be from a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours (WTE).
We welcome practice nurses who wish to train to be Advanced Nurse practitioners and/or to obtain a prescribing certificate. We have supported such nurses since 2009.
We offer a salary rise after 6 months, plus a discretionary bonus after the 1st QuoF year completion.
