Practice Nurse Locum – Enhanced Access Service

Merco Medical are looking for experienced Practice Nurses to provide cover for an Enhanced Access Service in North Norfolk. Clinics are held across 3 surgeries, with shifts currently available for April, May, and June.

Key Details:

• Flexible working days and hours (to be agreed with the practices)
• Clinics involve appointments such as blood tests, blood pressure checks, and long-term condition (LTC) reviews
• Supportive working environment in well-established practices

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
• Experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting
• Competency in performing blood tests, BP checks, wound care, and LTC reviews (e.g., diabetes, COPD, asthma, hypertension)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
