Job Title: Practice Nurse - Functional Assessor

Location: Scunthorpe, 21 Laneham St, Scunthorpe, DN15 6PB

Contract Type: Permanent

Starting salary: Starting salary £37,500 with OTE up to £43,450*

About You:

Join Medacs Healthcare as a Practice Nurse - Functional Assessor and use your clinical expertise in a rewarding hybrid role based in Scunthorpe.
As an experienced Functional Assessor, you'll assess, discuss, and report on how conditions impact daily living through face-to-face or telephone assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Typing proficiency and IT system navigation skills.
  • A commitment to integrity and delivering a high-quality service.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Full UK Right to Work - we are not able to support sponsorship to work in the UK at this time.
  • Current and unrestricted NMC registration.
  • A minimum of 1 year post-registration UK experience (NHS or private healthcare providers).
  • Experience in a range of clinical settings and/or specialties.
  • Applications also welcome from Registered Mental Health Nurses, Registered Learning Disability Nurses, Community Nurses, Registered General Nurses, Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN's), and District Nurses.
