Practice Nurse

We are working with a 'GOOD' CQC rated Practice in Wolverhampton who are searching for a Practice Nurse on a permanent basis for 16-25 hours per week.

They are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our existing nurse team, who can demonstrate a high standard of clinical care, supporting the clinical team with a range of skill mix. Flexibility with working hours is required to work across our two locations in Wolverhampton and support us with our Primary Care Network.

You need previous experience of working as a General Practice Nurse with competencies in Chronic Disease Management, which is essential.

The successful candidate will be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and willing to upskill in areas outside their competence.

Normal nursing duties will include:

• Cytology/Women’s Health
• Vaccinations and Immunisations (Travel, Flu, Childhood, and Adult)
• Infection Prevention and other Audits
• Chronic disease reviews
• Health Assessments and Health Promotion
• Contraceptive reviews
• Wound dressings
• Minor surgery assistance to GPs
• Injections (B12, hormonal, depo, etc.)
