Job Description:

A reputable medical practice in Torquay is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting patient assessments and managing chronic disease clinics
2. Administering immunisations, vaccinations, and wound care
3. Providing health promotion and education to patients
4. Assisting with minor surgical procedures
5. Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current NMC registration
2. Previous experience in a primary care or general practice setting is desirable
3. Proficiency in chronic disease management, including diabetes and asthma
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
