Job description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated part-time Practice Nurse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including child immunization, cytology, wound care, and other clinical duties. Experience in asthma and COPD management is essential.

Main Duties of the Job

• Chronic disease management - COPD and asthma
• Immunizations including child immunization
• Smear tests
• Blood pressure monitoring
• ECG

Supportive regular meetings with the extended clinical team with an emphasis on case discussion, external speakers, and internal expertise for staff development. We have a successful nurse triage and minor illness clinics. Our Multidisciplinary Team includes: GPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physiotherapist, GP Assistant, and Phlebotomist.

• Weekly clinical meetings and emphasis on whole practice clinical integration
• We are a SystmOne practice serving 11,800 patients across 2 sites skewed to younger and middle-aged patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, immunization, cytology, wound care, and other clinical duties. • Registered nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
