Applicants will have experience of working in a GP practice. It is ideal that you have knowledge of COPD & Asthma management, Diabetes management, Hypertension, sexual health / contraception, cervical cytology, childhood immunisations, and vaccines.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of a Practice Nurse using the standards expected by the NMC and in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines.

The successful candidate will join our existing clinical team of 2 GP Partners, 8 salaried GPs, 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants, Clinical Pharmacist & Paramedic Practitioner.

• BSc 1st Level Registered Nurse
• DBS Check
• Diploma in CVD
• Diploma in Diabetes
• Diploma in Asthma
• Diploma in COPD
• Approved Smear Taker
• Evidence of continuing professional Development
• Evidence of immunisation training
