Permanent, Flexible Hours, NHS Pension, Part-time
Do you have experience as a Practice Nurse in a Primary Care setting? If so, keep reading!

A GP surgery in Scunthorpe is on the lookout for an experienced Practice Nurse to join their friendly, hard-working team on a permanent basis. The surgery is looking for a Practice Nurse for up to 30 hours a week and is happy to be flexible with shift patterns for the correct candidate.

The successful candidate MUST:

1. Have prior GP experience.
2. Have experience in Chronic Disease Management (including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, CHD).
3. Feel comfortable running their own clinics in Cytology, Baby and Travel Immunisations, Dressing and wound care, Family planning, and more.
4. Have experience with System One.

In return, the surgery can provide a competitive pay of around £18-19 (dependent on experience), 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, NHS Pension and more! The surgery focuses heavily on Continuous Professional Development and would be happy to support the correct candidate through their Prescribing.

You would need to feel comfortable working autonomously, as you would be working alongside a HCA to provide high quality care to a patient list of around 9500. While there will be other Practice Nurses close by, you will be working independently. The successful candidate would be working at one site with parking available once you are provided a permit from the surgery.
