About the Practice:
An established, well-organised training practice in a popular area of Bromley is looking to welcome a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to its friendly and collaborative team. The practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and is proud to support the development of both staff and future clinicians.

As a training practice, it offers a stimulating and supportive environment where learning, development, and teamwork are genuinely valued. The team includes GP trainers, medical students, and trainee clinicians, making it an ideal setting for a nurse who enjoys sharing knowledge, contributing to a learning culture, and growing professionally.

About the Role:
This varied and rewarding role includes chronic disease management, immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and more. The successful candidate will work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other clinicians to provide holistic, patient-centred care.

Whether you're an experienced Practice Nurse or transitioning from another area of nursing, you'll be well supported in your role and encouraged to take part in quality improvement and ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
  2. Cervical cytology
  3. Childhood and adult immunisations, including travel health
  4. Wound care and dressings
  5. Health promotion and lifestyle advice
  6. Assisting with family planning and smoking cessation (if trained)
  7. Contributing to the clinical development of the practice

What We're Looking For:

  1. NMC-registered Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  2. Experience in a primary care or community setting is desirable
  3. Relevant clinical updates (e.g. cytology, immunisations)
  4. Excellent communication skills and a team-first approach
  5. A genuine interest in professional growth and patient-centred care
