Job Title: Practice Manager | Neurosurgery
Location: The Harley Street Clinic
Permanent, Full time – 37.5 hours per week

This role does not offer hybrid working.
Shift Times: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm with flexibility to start earlier and later.
Salary: Competitive.

We’re looking for a Practice Manager to join our Neurosurgery team based at The Harley Street Clinic, one of London’s leading private healthcare facilities. As a vital part of our team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy neurosurgery practice, managing a team of 6 medical secretaries and collaborating with 7 Consultants.

What you’ll do:

1. Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth coordination across teams.
2. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth.
3. Patient Care: Ensure high-quality, compassionate care and a seamless patient experience from start to finish.
4. Compliance & Quality: Maintain regulatory compliance, implement quality assurance programs, and manage clinic systems to ensure excellence in patient services.
5. Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of the clinic.

What you’ll bring:

1. Prior experience as a Practice Manager in a healthcare or clinical setting (private sector preferred).
2. Several years of experience within people management is highly desirable.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive operational success.
4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical office operations, and patient care.
5. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Proficient in using hospital or clinical IT systems.
