We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Practice Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to transition into a permanent position. This exciting opportunity includes overseeing the growth and success of our new site in Coventry, set to open later this year.
At White Cross Vets, Kings Heath, we are passionate about providing top-quality care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients. As the Practice Manager, you will be at the helm of our operations, overseeing the day-to-day running of the clinic, people management & leadership, ensuring high standards of clinical and client care, while also driving the sustainable profitability of our well-established practice – all with the support of our internal Human Resources team.
You’ll collaborate closely with our clinical and support teams and our group Practice Director to ensure the highest standards of care while also promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. You’ll also work closely with your Practice Director, who looks after ten clinics within the White Cross Vets Group as well as our internal Head Office.

We are seeking a strong and capable leader with experience in guiding a team to success within a practice environment. Clinical knowledge or experience in the veterinary industry would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving results, coupled with excellent people and leadership skills. We are looking for someone who aligns with our company values and brings a positive, confident attitude, with a strong belief in their own abilities.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we are open to discussing reduced hours or more flexible working arrangements.
