Sixways Clinic has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and accomplished Practice Manager to join our team. We are looking for an excellent people and strategic manager, with demonstrable experience of leading teams, who wants to enjoy going to work and making a difference. You should be a talented, professional, and positive individual, with a career background in business and people management, who can demonstrate success in leadership, patient/customer services, IT, finance, premises management, and strategic management. The successful candidate will be responsible for organisational leadership, service improvement and delivery of key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice. A high degree of personal organisation is required as well as a systematic approach to problem solving and planning. The practice has a dynamic, forward thinking outlook and likes to embrace and be at the forefront of change. Hours: 30-35 per week, to be worked over five days.

We are looking for someone who will work closely with the six-strong Partnership team and drive their vision to make it a reality. You will be supported by an Assistant Practice Manager and Reception Manager, as well as an established and capable administrative team. The multi-disciplinary clinical team is made up of eight GPs, one/two GPs in training, two advanced nurse practitioners, three nurses, a healthcare assistant and allied health professionals including social prescribers, care coordinators and clinical pharmacists.
Sixways Clinic is a key member of Cheltenham Peripheral Primary Care Network (PCN) and has an excellent working relationship with our four network practices, jointly offering innovative approaches to care and vaccinations to our 50,000+ patients. We also have strong links to Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (ICS), with two of our Partners actively involved in decision making at this level as Primary Care Network Clinical Director and an ICS Clinical Lead.
The practice has an active Patient Participation Group, which was awarded good by the Care Quality Commission and is a high achiever of Quality and Outcome Framework targets.
To manage, coordinate and oversee all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, and ensuring the practice achieves its long term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in promoting continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development, and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations.
