Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Band 7 Practice Education Facilitator post for 12 months for Midwifery.
The post holder will work across the midwifery and the corporate divisions with the support of an experienced team of PEFs to lead on the provision of safe and quality learning environments across Midwifery.
As an experienced Midwife the post holder will work in partnership with our partner Universities, partner further education colleges and with partners across the Greater Manchester region to create high quality learning opportunities for our Midwifery learners.
At the end of the fixed term contract successful candidates will be supported to apply for any permanent Band 6 post available within the division.
This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager's agreement for a secondment arrangement prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis/secondment and will end in 12 months when the fixed term funding expires. Whilst this post is advertised on a fixed term / secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments within the Trust and will be required to work locally within services where learning opportunities can be provided. The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which may require cross boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the NHSE Quality Assurance Framework.
