An established industry player is seeking a practice accountant with Tax and Audit experience to join their Exeter office. This role involves planning and completing audits, preparing management and statutory accounts, and handling corporation and income tax computations. Job description

My client is a well-known Chartered Accountancy firm. They are looking for a practice accountant with Tax/Audit experience to join their Exeter office.


Role & Responsibilities
  1. Planning and completing audits.
  2. Preparing management and statutory accounts.
  3. Completing corporation tax computations.
  4. Providing points for Director review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues.
  5. Preparing sole trade and partnership accounts.
  6. Completing income tax returns.
  7. Providing points for review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues.
  8. Monitoring and assisting more junior members in the team.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified.
  2. Practice experience.
  3. Strong IT skills and proficient in the use of computerised audit, accounts and tax software.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to take responsibility for managing and prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
  6. Accurate, methodical and inquisitive approach to work.
  7. Motivated and highly effective whether working independently or as part of a team.

Salary dependant on experience.
