Job Title: PR & Marketing Specialist (1 Year FTC)

We are hiring for our client, a leading organisation in the telecoms sector, who are seeking a PR & Marketing Specialist to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and growing business, developing and implementing PR strategies across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening corporate reputation, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting key marketing activities.

The Role:

• Ensure all PR and group marketing activities align with brand guidelines to enhance corporate reputation.
• Collaborate with agencies and the Head of PR to develop and execute consumer and corporate PR strategies.
• Maximise brand exposure through sponsorships, events, and key partnerships.
• Write and oversee content creation, including press releases, award entries, and corporate communications.
• Monitor PR coverage, conduct competitor research, and produce performance reports.
• Work closely with the People & Culture team to develop and activate internal communications strategies.
• Manage budgets, invoices, and purchase orders for PR & Public Affairs activities.
• Support business units with marketing activities such as case studies, newsletters, website updates, and social media content.

The Person:

• Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or demonstrable experience in marketing and PR.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing PR and marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of advertising, digital marketing, and social media management.
• Excellent content writing skills with experience tailoring content for various platforms.
• Experience using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Highly creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
