Position: PR Manager

Location: Remote (UK/EMEA)

As the PTW family of brands continues to expand around the world, the business has a growing need for a PR Manager to help build and run our Corporate Affairs department. Our footprint stretches 16 countries and over 4,000 employees; we are looking for someone capable of helping execute a comprehensive internal and external comms strategy on a global scale.

Reporting to our Chief of Staff, the right candidate will help PTW bolster our presence in the media, drive unique evergreen stories around the nearly 150 AAA titles we work on each year, and help us build company culture through CSR campaigns. In addition to our B2B business, this person will be spending a percentage of their time crafting and executing the communications strategy for an upcoming and proprietary unannounced social media platform, targeting gamers from Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has B2B and B2C communications experience, but is willing to add value across the board, no matter the situation. PTW is looking for someone willing to grow with the company, who can stretch themselves across projects in multiple disciplines, and who can pivot on a dime depending on the needs of the business.

We are ideally looking for someone with gaming experience, drive, ambition, and a passion for storytelling, whether that’s to external or internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping craft and execute global communications plans that push the boundaries and goals of the Corporate Affairs department at PTW.
  • These projects vary between each line of business, but each of our sites and areas of the company have bespoke communications goals that this position will help achieve.
  • Work hand-in-hand with PTW’s Product and Go-to-Market teams to build a comprehensive PR strategy and approach for several unannounced products, including a social media platform, targeting gamers from Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
  • Leveraging local HR and CSR team members for support, this position would help manage our Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives globally.
  • Help create and manage several employee relations programs, including a global internal internship program and an annual ‘high achievers’ event.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media to manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.
  • Help manage and grow our external agency relationships around the world.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a modern communications department inside a rapidly growing company playing in a rapidly evolving gaming landscape. This position is designed to challenge the right candidate to build new professional muscles and try untested approaches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate communications and/or public relations.
  • Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.
  • Experience working directly with senior company leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, including but not limited to PR agencies, branding agencies, event logistics companies, etc.
  • Ability to visualize, strategize, and execute on a cohesive strategy for internal and external communications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, succeed under pressure, and roll with the demands of the business (and how quickly things change).
  • Experience juggling multiple projects at one time, preferably in multiple time zones.
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and overall enthusiasm for gaming is a massive plus.
